    I think it might have been a poor attempt to trash talk the JBL. I stand by what I said. It's a good speaker.

    Probably not my first choice for a sub, mine might be an Altec 3184.

    yeah, I am in no hurry to use it. A winter project to make some 18" suitable baffles for my 12cuft boxes if anything.
    Though also tempting to try it as an open-back/OB guitar speaker, I probably won't be bothered.

    If someone wants to trade me a decent 3184 for it, I am all ears :-)

    The JBL and cab have been rehomed to an enthusiastic musician. :-)

    $1750 US, to rich for my blood though if it was a shorter trip to the Ukraine I'd consider trading a pair of my 604's for them. meh.

    For 1800$ you could also buy a brand new Tactical 308 Win.
